A New Vision for NH's Veterans and Military Community
In a recent article in the Fosters Daily Democrat, Maureen Beauregard, guest columnist, wrote about the award Easterseals NH received from the State of New Hampshire to help the state's veteran community.
As she reported, last year, the State of New Hampshire awarded Easterseals NH $23 million to develop a campus for military members and their families at our underutilized 15-acre campus in Franklin.
Easterseals created a Campus Taskforce to gain insights from experts on the needs of the veterans and military community so that the needs would be meet by these groups. The article goes into detail about the results of their research.
Construction of Stage 1 of the project is planned to start in September 2023 and is anticipated to be completed in December 2024.
